Blue lemon bar
On Friday Anders and I went to a surprise birthday party of a friend of ours, Paula. Although I didn't know where it would be located at I was excited to see where the forro/sertaneja dance club was supposed to be held at and how it would be. We arrived at the dance forro club at around 11:00 o clock and waited with some friends as Paula arrived at the place. At the club there was a guest singer, a women who sang everything from Titanium by David Guetta and even rock music. At one point the singer invited the birthday girl up to the front stage to dance in front of everyone and she even got the chance to be a DJ for a song. Well around 2:00 in the morning I was already anxious to get back, however, not being able to find an ride and the fact that the buses and metro stopped after midnight forced us to wait the night out. Eventually we left around 4:00 only to have to wait another hour and a half for a bus to come by. Well we got home around 6:00 in time to take a shower and leave for the career workshop that we had to teach. Were we tired? You bet we were! Probably not something I am going to do for a while, especially before having to teach an class.
